Living outside of the UK this is the first I have heard of Chris.

What a great concept to return something to the sport in the form of something life saving.

Here's to the Jones family!

Does the 50 pound cover cost of an airline ticket from Aus? :)

Yep, this is a great cause

Am actually just checking my calendar to see if I might be able to get down to Birmingham for it.

Mmmm, have just read who the 'two special racers' are on BikeSport News...

That'll be Carl Fogarty and Troy Corser, then!

I read that the event was a huge success and about £20,000 were raised

Excellent stuff - it was actually a busy weekend last one, a friend-of-a friend was running a charity kart race at Rye House in Hertfordshire which featured Mika Kallio and Bradley Smith amongst others (it was mainly car drivers there - some F3 guys, WSbR, and GP2 race-winner Javier Villa).
