Which county/state has the best looking flag?

I have always liked Germany's flag. Their flag is somehow very well noticable among others, for example when looking at the ranking tables at sport events. :D

I like the South African flag. Basic but colourful.

I like the Finnish flag too and have one on the back of my car because Finland is cool, Finnish people are cool and other than Sebastien Loeb the best drivers are almost always Finns.

The Lebanese flag is good, I also like the Bhutanese, Nepalese, Norfolk Island flags. Also the Isle of Man is pretty cool. A few more PNG, Kiribati, Nauru.

Outside of the US of course, I like Canada's Maple Leaf. Brazil's appeals to me as does Kenya's. I like the clean look of Norway's Flag also. Australia's is nice, and who doen't like the dragon on Wales' flag?

But hey, nobody has Mexico beat, What's not to love about a flag that has an eagle sitting on a cactus with a snake in it's mouth? :laugh:

The Union Flag for what it is looks pretty cool and especially when painted on the roof of a Mini.
The Italian Flag looks brilliant if it's used on the front of a Vespa.

Perhaps the most striking flag in the world that has now for some bizarre reason fallen into the realm of retro-cool is the flag of the Soviet Union.

Yeah agree, but if we paint the whole vespa according to Italian flag's color painted in front, it looked from backside as Ivory Coast's. ;)

On the other end there is some not very nice flags in the middle-east...
the swedish navy-flag is quite nice looking, as is the norwegian. The finnish i somewhat bleak..

For me, the Brittish, New Zealand and Australia flag. I also like the Finnish one with the white and (light) blue combination.

The Dutch flag is ok with the combination of red, white and blue. though I liked the old one more, with orange instead of red and the Dutch lion symbol in the middle. Why not using symbols anymore, makes it more interesting IMO.

I had a mökki in Koskenpää to use as my NORF base, so I would pass Rantapirtti site on my way to Jyväskylä .... hospitality there is excellent! They have Mikko Hirvonens crash helmet from Subaru time on display amongst all the different whiskys. I`ll be back there in `08 for sure :) but I`ll stick to Koskenkorva while I`m in Finland!
