View Full Version : Predictions for Lowe's Motor Speedway???

I predict Ryan Newman goes to Victory Lane this week. He was so close to it at Talladega, if Kurt and Newman work together they can turn out a win.
On Newmans Alltel Racing podcast he said he was bored with last weeks race because they ran single file and that's not was NASCAR is about. I hope that means he's going to tear Lowe's up and run 4 wide all day! haha
Listen to what Newman says about his car and the track conditions at Lowe's at www.alltelracing.com (http://www.alltelracing.com)

Other predictions:
2. Jimmie Johnson because he has a great track record at lowe's
3. Jeff Gordon because he will come off strong after Talladega
4. Lil E because I dont even care if he wins I just want to see him finish a race!

I think Kasey Kahne could have a chance. He's has a good record here and should be more competative now with Gilliet's funding.

I think Brian Vickers could run well too for Red Bull. They ran well in the 600 and the team are well suited to the 1.5 mile ovals.

Is Brian running in the Busch race. He didn't make the cut in Cup. :)

Didn't see the quali results until I posted. Shame for Brian. :( I think he is running the Busch race though.

Unless another driver gives him their seat, Brian Vickers WON'T be competing in the Busch race.

I'm hoping for another Jeff Gordon victory :)

as long as it's more exciting than the yawn fest from earlier this year (or at least the middle 5 hours of that race) - if it's not JG then would be good to see Kahne or JPM win

I predict Jimmie Johnson will win with the 24 in the top 10. Hendrick might as well buy this place, since they always run well here. Ryan Newman will do ok, but fight handling issues all day, as he always seems to at any event he takes pole. Junior will get a top 5 or the motor will blow...and in the end, it will be similar to most of the Chase events so far. Hendrick dominating with Tony Stewart fighting to remain relevent in the points battle...and everyone else hoping for a change in luck.

I also predict Kyle Petty will drop out the top 35.

I also predict Kyle Petty will drop out the top 35.

That will happen if Elliott finishs about 15 or more places ahead of Petty and Blaney finishs just about anywhere ahead of Petty.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting a HMS win! ;-)

Hello I'm new :)

I think Dale Jr could win or Clint Bowyer because they were pushing the limit of the outside groove in the Busch race.

If it wasn't for a bunch of oil on that outside groove Jr could have won.

Lets get ready for a 15 cautions,oh theres the 1st one, turn 4 what a suprise.

Cheers

Harvick's dropping a lap pitting for a bad tire. Oops wrong thread. Oh well.

After running together most of the night, Elliott just hit the wall, so Petty's safe in top 35 for another week.

Petty got a top 20 and is now 100 points ahead of the #21. He's probably safe for another couple of races.

Jeff Gordon wins again from Clint Bowyer. Another great finish by Dave Blaney with 6th and Micheal Waltrip makes the top 10.

Although Newmangirl was looking pretty good on that last restart, but then you know, he pulled a Newman ;)
