*gags* lol :D There ARE still 2 races left ya know, with a good chance of rain at both. Sure Hamilton did good this time, but what if he doesn't qualify on pole for another wet race? It will be night and day since he'll have to deal with spray which he hardly had to deal with in Japan.

You're right, they could have been also the most improved team of the year, and Lewis could have been the most improved driver of the year as well as name Mike Coughlan the technical director of the year (after all he is the one behind this McLaren resurgence!).
That's it problem solved! :D ;)

1 - Hamilton (Australia) - although Sutil in Belgium should have been on

4 - McLaren
5 - McLaren
6 - Sato @ Canada
7 - Kovalainen
8 - Williams - Lack of manufacturer backing and still big improvement

How should I take the phrase "Man of the year" ?
We already saw his wet track skills at Nurburgring!
So what? This was his first race in the wet. He'll win a lot more wet races in the future. ;)

Also biggest whinger award to DC.
"Then when the team came on the radio on lap 19 and said 'safety car in this lap' I was actually laughing because it just seemed ridiculous."
How much is he paid to do his job again?

He was actually right. What difference was there between 1st or 19th lap?! None, the circuit was just as wet if not worse.
They should have had a rolling start and that's all.

I guess it's different to drive F1 car. ;) His inexperience cost him at the Nurburgring, but he showed good laptimes nevertheless - even in the wet they were similar to Alonso's.

Must be because the F1 car has TC! Not like that makes it more difficult to drive in slippery conditions.

And Schumacher spun twice in his first wet GP, and crashed out of his second. So using your logic Schumacher was an absolutely awful wet weather driver, no?

He found it ridiculous because of the prospect of himself racing of conditions he wasn't 100% comfortable in, not because the safety car was out for 19 laps. If the grand prix panned out his way the whole race would be under safety car.
And yes I agree 19 laps of SC is a joke. It was agonising!

I never ever said he was the God of F1 racing after his first season in F1. Or maybe you can prove me wrong?!
Why do you have to come with this sort of useless attacks when you want to prove a point?

Are you stupid? I used an example of Schumacher to justify that results of a drivers first wet F1 grands prix aren't necessarily indicative of their true wet weather skill, and you call it an attack. Get real.

14. Man of the Year: Nigel Stepney, the one and only man responsible for bringing the Constructor's Championship back to Ferrari. He alone, did what the entire team could not get done.

Maybe before critisising others about having a closed mind you'd like to have an open, reasoned discussion where you don't critisise someone with a differing opinion and claiming they're attacking you. You know, just a suggestion.
