Harvick owes Kurt for keeping him in the chase. Without Kurt's crash taking everyone out Harvick would be darn near out of the chase.
Tough luck for Kenseth. Hamlin got what he deserved.

He didn't touch any of the cars that mattered. The current & multi champions as well as Ky Busch & Edwards are in a 10 point group at the top, over a 100 points ahead of Harvick.

its bad luck for Harvick, he had a top 10 car the whole race, but had 2 problems again, if anything Johnson got lucky that everyone had trouble cause he would've had a 27th place finish :p : so there

Really not worth worrying about points until after the Talladega race in two weeks and we see who comes out of the first CoT plate race unscathed.

Jonesi, every car that was running in front of Harvick matters. It doesn't have to be a contender. Every car in front of Harvick that was taken out moved Harvick up in points for the race. He gained somewhere around 50 points due to the Kurt wreck taking the cars out odf the race or dropping them behind harvick.

And the points count the same before Talladega as they do after. All points are important and count towards the final number.

Oh, I wonder what happens to Edwards since his car failed post race inspection. :)

MD, they have 8 races left, 115 points is nothing if he goes on a roll and the guys above him have issues. Dover proved that half the Chase contenders can all have bad days at once....

Being 115 points out just means you have to start winning races and hoping fate helps you out a little with the competition. He isn't done....just it is a little more difficult.
