Regarding the new NASCAR 08 game which is out in the UK tomorrow, I've got my copy now great I thought fired it up to find a large list of drivers, 01,1,2,6......I'm sorry where the hell is Kyle Busch and the 5?

What did I miss why was he removed form the EU version? Now after 10 minutes the game shall be removed from my collection

Why did they remove Kyle Busch from the European version of NASCAR 08.

My guess is .....
because of the fact that Hendrick MotorSports has put Kyle Busch on the "Not One of Us List".
HMS didn't want Kyle Busch included, so they refused to give permission for the #5. :eek:

Now, I have to find a US copy. Stan, can't help but notice you seem to find it the funniest thing in the world that Kyle won't be racing for Hendrick next season, do you actually think he needs HMS to win races? It's unfortunate that the 5 will slip off the map next season, it's my favourite/lucky number, shame.

Don't know about the game, but in Cup next year the only change to #5 is Casey Mears moves over from #25.

Ummm Kyle Busch slit his own throat at Hendricks...

If you don't produce there, you are gone. IF you produce, but you are a headache, you are gone. If you are a good guy, a good teammate and competitive but not winning, you have a bit more rope but in the end, they want results.

Kyle didn't do anything this year but say things he shouldn't at awkward moments ( such as dumping on the COT after winning with it. NASCAR didn't like it and you have to know Rick Hendrick didn't like it), quit on the team early in the year at Phoenix and they were forced to put Dale Jr. in the car to get laps and get his sorry @ss points and THAT is why HMS likely didn't approve having his name with their car in that video game. Your hero commited the greatest sin in racing, he made his TEAM look bad and didn't seem to show any contriteness for it. I think at Gibb's he will learn something....for the Coach and his son are legends at dealing with people don't always toe the line on political correctness.....
