I must say that I know absolutely nothing about German Superbikes, are they racing true superbikes/supersports or more tuned superstocks?

I must say I do not know that much about these classes. WSB driver Max Neukirchner won a race in this championship at Assen and both races on the Salzburgring this year. Honda won the constructorschampionship (586 points) before Suzuki (513 points) and Yamaha (104 points).

Yesterday there was in the newspaper here that 36-years old Belgian driver Werner Daemen had contacts with Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki for next year. He can drive again a year in this championship or in the WSS or in the World Championship Endurance.

Wow, there's some names from the past! Werner Daemen, Jorg Teuchert and Andy Meklau have been around for a while.
The supersport championship looks like it was an exciting one. 17 points covering the top 3.
I saw Martin Bauer got a wildcard ride at Lausitz but he dnf'd both races I think. Hopefully we see some young Germans come through to join the likes of Neuchkirchner in WSB and Arne Tode in Superstock 1000.

It was a pity that Meklau couldn’t race in Hockenheim last weekend. He lost his second place in the championship to Andersen.

More tuned Superstock in SBK and Superstock regulations in Supersport.

Arne Tode is going to replace Robbin Harms in the last race in WSS this year. Robbin will have his arm fixed.
