I had my my autosomal DNA checked at DNA Tribes:

http://www.dnatribes.com/

They said my closest DNA-relatives were from Iceland, Finland and Strathclyde in Scotland (in that order).

Finland and Scotland are known to have top drivers but I can't remember any from Iceland. Thor, you're not doing your job.

Viktor Jensen was second last year in Formula Palmer Audi, this year he's doing British F3.

And this is what Icelanders mean when they say "hillclimb" - Pikes Peak is nothing compared to that!

Motors TV used to show this stuff some years ago but they seem to have dumped a lot of things lately. :( I hope they'll at least show Bathurst live...

Yes, hillclimbing looks seriously cool. Who's the winner in it? The last man standing?

Icelandic Hillclimb is brilliant

Eki, there are only 300,000 Icelanders or so, give them a break. They don't even have a race track at the moment, or has that track been built already?

How much did you pay to get that done and do you think it was worth it?

The cost is currently US$ 199.99 (146 € or £99):

I have genealogy as a hobby and like also to know something about my those ancestors church records can't reach but DNA may. Anyway, it's everybody's own choice how much they want to spend on their hobbies.

And it's also educational. Without the test i wouldn't know what or where Strathclyde is:

The police checked my DNA.
They said all my relatives had been burned at the stake.

Couldn't get me on anything, though :p :

They didn't say, Eki. I'll be willing to guess they were tied upsides down to a cross :p :

I think they weighed them in ducks first, then gave them a river soaking. There may even have been some chanting as the flames licked ever higher ;)
