What is the best boardgame you've ever played?

Yes we have that and I've played it. It's good, especially with bigger crowd playing :)

My fav as a child was called Buccaneer by Waddingtons.

I just remember you could win real treasure (I was v young) that was the attraction

My son has probably the replacement for it "Captain Bones Gold" keeps him amused for a bit :)

Checked the developers website(Grow) and apparently they don't make the game anymore, anyway found out the game is similar to Formula Dé http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_D%C3%A9 but it only features the Interlagos track

I used to like Frustration or Game of Life. Still have my Simpsons edition of Monopoly and a very old edition of Operation in the loft somewhere.

When I was younger I was rather keen on chess too.

Includes two things I'm very good at, and luck isn't none of them :) Sounds great.

We have a Star Wars edition of trivial Pursuit. I had to buy a region free DVD player for that but the game was disappointment. Basicly all you needed is to answer Luke to every question and you win :mark:

Oh yeah I haven't played that for ages! I need to improve my vocabulary after being off school for so long. I shall force my family into playing it with me, and hope I get lots of triple word scores. :D

You should look for Steel Panthers 1 and 2, old games for the PC that you might find on something like eBay. I think you'll like 'em.

Monopoly and Risk were great but took ages. Trivial pursuit was fun too.
