Walked into work today and all nice and neatly in a row were an obscenely hideous brand spanking new 911 GT3 RS in bright orange, an Aston Martin V8 in that colour all Aston's seem to come in :mark: , a bright red Ferrari 430 Spider, a brand new 911 Turbo in red and an identical 911 Turbo in black.

I think some people need a paycut and I need a payrise I think :mark:

Sad thing is that not one of the cars makes me go WOW! I'd love to own that. Perhaps the Aston but it's the V8 and nobody wants a baby Aston :p

I work at a non-profit, but there are a new BMW M5, M-Benz 500SL, and 993 Porsche Turbo in the garage

Walking through the car park at my job I can honestly say the very best car is mine :D

Of course, as I work from my own yard mainly alone, it's the only time it can be best :mark: If somebody rides over to see me on the average horse, it would beat my vehicle in the value stakes :p :

When I'm working from auctions, it's incredible the range of vehicles parked around me. Mainly 4x4 as they're towing large loads, but sometimes vast brand new tractors with wheels as big as my Land Rover, sometimes tiny ancient Novas with a carboard box containing one, highly valued bit of antique glass in the passenger seat.

In short, it could be anything on wheel, hooves or tracks when I park up.

Just checked my 'work' car park and there's a brand new Zafira SRi sitting there and nothing else, which means the wife has taken her car to work :D

However I did park in an underground car park just next to St Johns Wood tube station earlier this week and every other bay had something either worth £60k+ or extremely old and rare in it, some covered by made to measure car covers.

One black beauty, Skoda Octavia I think it is.

Nothing great just the regular type of cars that you can see looking from the window. There's no car park as such, every car is parked on the street, but I bet if I take a look I'd see Fords, Citroens, Peugeots, Seats and some 4x4's.

There's no nice cars in my car park. :( Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 are probably the most expensive ones but those are hideous.

And then there's my Seat.

No Aston V8 today :( And no ridiculous GT3 either (good thing that)

I got the colour of the F430 slightly wrong. It's black actually and not red :mark: Saw a 599GTB on the way to work which was nice :)

AFF. Is it a JP edition? You know.... the one with the "off road" pack? :D

No resident special cars in my carpark of employment, my fellow workmate sometimes brings his Ballistic Evo5 RS Sprint in though, which has been tuned just a tad (340bhp) :D with sensible upgrades in the clutch, gearbox, suspension and brakes departments. Although its a few years old now.. its still an incredible car, the ultimate Evo imo.. I've had a few blasts and fallen in love with it.

A 2007 TR Tech Cobra with 5.7 liter V8 developing 480 horses with a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.8 seconds. And I get to drive it :D

You need to do a better job on cleaning those toilets if you want a pay rise danny boy ....(joke)

The cleaner's probably paid more than me ;) My job's too easy to justify a pay increase. Although my pay gets reviewed in November so let's see ;)

Forgot to mention that the GT3 RS turned up and is as silly looking as ever. I'm sure it's an excellent car on the track but there's no need for something so hardcore merely for driving to and from work and maybe to and from Sainsbury's twice a week :mark: Everyone thinks he's a ****er though :p I think he's just trying to outdo everyone else but he just looks like an idiot :p

None really apart from mine. :p : For the money some of these people are on upstairs in the offices, they drive some unflashy cars. Although very, very, very occasionally, a manager brings his mint Ford Escort MKII RS2000 in red.

My shift manager had a midlife crisis and swapped his Passat TDi for a 10 year old Mercedes SL320, but that's just a big barge. :p :

In my works carpark there is always a black Porsche Boxster S (with a yummy driver ;) ), a black BMW M3, frequently a black Porsche 911, occasionally an Aston or two, a Corvette and a Bentley. :D None of which actually belong to anyone in my work. :s

The nicest car in our office carpark is my Black 1993 Escort RS Cosworth!

But I'm biased :D

The MD brought a bright yellow Gallardo Spyder in today :cheese: Much nicer than his 911 Turbo. Must have something to do with Carol Vorderman coming in today as I've never seen it before :mark:

The teachers/staff at my work have fairly rubbishy cars. The head has Toyota Landcruiser! One teacher has a Ford Focus RS!

The boss at work has an old Mazda MX-5 :erm: The best car belongs to one of the supervisors and is a BMW M3 E36. There is also a lad you has a tidy Austin Mini.

I find that very very few modern cars have that WOW factor. I once passed an old school GT40 parked right next to a Ferrari Enzo. We spent minutes checking out all the vents and curves on the GT40 and almost missed the Enzo out completely. Going to Goodwood is the same, cars like the Veyron do nothing for me but the old classics, now they're a totally different picture. I could spend the rest of my life staring at an Aston Martin DB4 Zagato.

Agreed. The Gallardo is nice but it hardly stopped me in my tracks when I first saw it. Strangely enough a Brera does stop me in my tracks and so did the DB5 at Prodrive. A Veyron just seems like a means to an end. As if they thought "lets go this fast. What do we need to do?" instead of just making something beautiful and finding out at the end that it's the worlds fastest production car.

Our work car park is underground, and space is very limited, therefore the likes of me aren't permitted to enter. I'm sure the top cheeses have some fairly swish wheels, but I've no idea what.
