Isn't receiving e-mails just fun! :) I got two today and I haven't yet opened them. I'm still so very excited. :p

That depends on what the emails are about. I had 2 weeks off work and came back to 273 emails!!! Most of them very boring

I'm going to Hawaii, yaaayy.

Today I had an email from my tutor, and three from my mum.

But, receiving email can be fun, if it's from a real person, and someone you don't see every day anyway. It's especially good if you haven't heard from them for a while.

Oh my whattthe... haven't still opened them. :p Got carried away with MSN convos and some web surfing. :\ Not to say that I had forgot about my shiny e-mails! :D After all, they contain information about my possible life or death. :s hock: (and no, it's not like I'm getting a medical diagnosis or anything :) )

Do you also wait at the door for the postman to come?

I used to be so thrilled when I got an email, I'd get one from my friend, she'd send me one every few days or so and we'd just chat. My mum and dad from work would send an email too :D

Now I have messenger to keep in touch with my friends and my mum moved workplace so can't email me from work but sends some funny picture slideshows when we're at home :)

No, usually not. I very nearly started a job as a postman but on my first day I slept in.

Report: DONE~! :D

Erki you really need to get out more :\

1) I know, I do need to get out more.
2) Those were actually quite important mails(replys actually)
3) Isn't it sad that these days letters - human interaction - gets looked down upon? :)

I like receiving e-mails from friends, I just received one and I like it.

Not as much as to make a new thread for it though....

What if that person is situated like 10,000 miles away from me? :) Wish I could teleport myself... would cut airfares. And good for global warming too. :s mokin:

It's okay Erki, you're not alone. i like getting emails too!! i like getting mail more though.. and even more fun than mail? Parcels!! the best thing in the world!!

Especially parcels when you dont know what they contain, Since my sister moved to the other side of australia, we've been sending each other "care packages" and it's so much fun! it's mainly just silly things like sweeties and trinkets, but it is fun to see what she's found for me on her trips around the gold coast.

Sometimes i will order something over the internet like a CD or a book, just so that i can get it in a parcel, because it's more fun that way. I've just ordered a new book and i cant wait to get it! only i had to order this one from the internet because it's a specialist book that my bookstore doesnt stock.

Omg, don't even remind the e-mails. Most of them are spam and therefore before entering my mailbox I tend to think twice to make sure whether it's really vital this time. :)

There is nothing more thrilling for me than receiving offers of herbal Viagra and messages asking me whether I want to give my life savings to an African prince in desperate need of a bank transfer. What else is there to live for?

Sad people who put their e-mail addresses any possible places. :\ I for one get very, very few junk mails. Some newsletters, some eZines, and then an occasional personal e-mail. :)

Oh. I remember putting my e-mail to somewhere just once and that was enough. :p :
