I had friends that went. Personally I didn't see the point of them taking 3 weeks off work and paying £800 or so for the privilage of going there to work!

I'd be interested to know the final amount of people that went AWOL from the jamoree. They were saying people were missing but they weren't worried as they has Visa. The jamoree is over, and no doubt their visa have expired, but have does anybody know where they are? I doubt it.

Well no it wasn't becuase they went to the last one in Tailand, they still wear the clothing at events where Scouts may be to show they actually went. I'm sure they will go to the next one too, and the next one.... :p
