Some of you may recall that last year I had issues with a little bug in my laptop screen. It died in the middle and I learnt to live with it, not knowing what to do at the time. Until Now, however, because he has been joined by a new 'friend' and I have two tiny miniscule insects in my screen.
And I've had enough. I'm going to unscrew my laptop tomorrow and take off the screen, attempt to open it up and brush these *******s off.
Has anyone else had issues like this before?
Has anyone else ever taken the casing off an LCD screen?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, your bugs are multiplying ............... http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g202/gr8link/orn/dl.gif
You better hope they don't have offspring ............... http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g202/gr8link/orn/00.gif

I think he's dead...
I wish there was a 'debug' option...

I've never seen this on a computer before. They can be very annoying in SLR cameras, though. Hope you're able to sort it.

Rather like this:

But not moving, dead in the centre of the screen. :\

What do you have Andy?
Have a look around on the internet (presuming you already haven't) to see if other people have had the same problem. If not, give the manufacturer an e-mail.

No point in taking it apart. The screen is most likely a sealed unit and will probably be broken if you open it :) If you're intent on getting it opened pay an authorised technician :)
