After F1 withdrew from the US market and then our lone driver was fired, I decided to just give up on F1 and follow Indy Cars more instead. I think someday Indy Cars will get to something at least remotely close to what CART was in the 80s.

but anyway, I planned on just giving up on F1 since I could no longer even see a race here, or even get it on my television (since I don't have a dish or digial cable)

but anyway I caught Q3 and the start of the race race on my girlfriend's TV yesterday.

Now instead of giving up on F1 I decided to drive 8 hours to Canada and go to the race there.

Yes, Indy was only 2 hours away, but Monteal should be cool.

anyone know how that track is for spectators? what's the hotel scene?

this'll be my first 'away' race and I have no idea what I'm in for!
