I'm a bit confused by the new safety car ruling allowing lapped cars to move ahead to the end of the field. Apparently the commentators on SpeedTV were also not clear.

Does the rule allow ALL lapped cars to unlap themselves, or only those who would interfere with the leading cars on the restart? If it's ALL cars then there is no problem. If it is only to prevent lapped cars from interfering with the leaders on the restart, then LH should not have been allowed to unlap himself since he was already at the back of the field.

Does anyone know the actual rule on this situation (and in easy-to-understand English?)

I know actual rule in my poor and hard-to-understand english. :)

Any lapped cars between the cars on lead lap can overtake SC after LAPPED CARS MAY NOW OVERTAKE message.

I was wrong in another thread...

That's what I thought the rule was, BUT LH was not BETWEEN any cars - he was already at the back of the field??
