For the first time since I can remember I have won a prize :D

After getting a little miffed with T-Mobile for their wireless internet service when I'm travelling, I decided to change supplier. Having used BT for the past 18 months at home, I thought I'd give them a whirl. They offer a reasonably good package for the price, and it has been working everywhere I want it to so far.

Whilst logging on I came across a simple competion, which I entered, as you do, and got an e-mail two weeks ago telling me I'd won first prize, which is a hot air balloon ride for two, courtesy of Red Letter Days :D

Anyone else won a prize?

Congratulations!

The only thing I've won was a £5 voucher for a shop in the village after I came 3rd in a drawing competition when I was 6 or so. It was just colouring in :s

Hey, great news Carl. Glad to see that you're moving up in the world

I've never won anything interesting. Every now and then, as my little card fills with stamps, I get a free coffee from the local beanery :dozey:
The missus once won a round-trip air ticket from Shanghai to Bangkok, which we unfortunately were never able to use :mark:

I've won a couple of drawings for cd's(music) REM was one, Amy Grant the other.

I won a Marlboro Racing Team Penske jacket once

I won $50 in the lottery once

I won tickets to see the band Cheap Trick once.

Lots of "free fries, free cokes" etc.

I think there's a few other things too, I've actually won a bunch of small prizes, but never a "Major" prize

Wow, nice one Carl... what a cool prize!

The best thing, adn I think the ONLY thing, I've ever won was a bike. I was about 8 at the time and was annoyed to discover my mum sold it to the woman down the road for £100 just because I already had my brothers hand me down!!!

Good one Carl. Hope you enjoy it. Just don't ever show me any photos from up in the sky - I'm scared of heights!
