British & Irish Crews Wanted.

I have had a few customers saying today that there are rumours being said that there are only deals for WRC type cars on this years Tour of Flanders. This is certainly not the case. There is a very good deal for all competitors as listed below.

Location : Roeselare Belgium, 1 hour from Calais.
Type of Event : Tarmac Closed Roads
Stage Mileage: 229 KM – 100 % Tarmac
Recce : Thursday 6th Friday 7th September
Licence : National A
Classes : A & N
R – Previously Homologated Vehicles
M – Modified, Mk2 with Atmo Cossi etc
GT – Porsche 911 etc
Deals : Free Entry
Free Insurance
Prize Money – 200 euro if your in the top 15 on day 1 - 400 euro if you finish in top 10. Total 600 Euro.
There are Special deals available for WRC type cars.
Travel : We have negotiated Reduced ferry prices for competitors & Spectators. We have accommodation

This has to be one of the cheapest events of the year. We are the only official agent for this event and please dont hesitate to contact us you will be amazed how cheap rallying abroad can be.

Is the main rally not under an International permit (International licence required)? The Historic event is presumably National/NEAFP, whether runing to Appendix K or Brit Hist Championship regs, so Nat A only required.
Oh for the days of old in Belgium with free entry, free accomm (incl service crew) and start money. Prize money only goes to those who don't need it...

You only need a Nat A licence for all the Belgian championship except ypres which is an IRC round.

I agree with the old days but unfortunatly they have banned tobaco advertiseing. I think this type of deal is a lot better than giving the WRC cars start money. It helps the clubman quite a bit and a well driven GpN car should get the money.

Cheers

John

We all used to get start money, not just top spec cars! (although not on Flanders - it was the events without UK agents that were the best deals...broke even on direct costs occasionally!).

Now to get the money in they have to sell spectator passes. Hence they want the big cars.

Nothing new there then...
