Scott Riggs DNQ yet AGAIN?!

Isn't this first pole for Blaney as well? Johnny Sauter's 4th is also worth mentioning and Robby is doing nicely again. :s mokin:

Way to go for Blaney! As for Riggs I fear he may soon be sacked. He has never shown enough ability in a Cup car and Evernham must have expected better results.
Great to see Kevin Lepage make the race as well.

Blaney had another pole in 2003, and it gets him back in another race next Feb.

Robby was the best Ford at 16th! 4 of the 5 Roush cars were in the 30s ugh!

snip..Great to see Kevin Lepage make the race as well.

His 2nd start of the year, and just barely over Chaffin by 0.003 second.

I don't think that Riggs will be gone after this season. All of the Evernham cars have been awful. They didn't expect the new nose on the CoY to react as it did and they were behind in the CoT development.

42 JUAN MONTOYA (on a roll ;-)

I hope he can hold his position.
if I recall correctly, last time that he qualifyied in the top 10 he was quicky swallowed up by the pack and went back to his familiar mid pack position.

Am I rememering correctly or was this a Bush race I am recalling?

Any way, Juan seems ready to stay with the front runners. Let's hope his car also has the same idea.

I hope that Montoya will be able to score a Top 10 :) I'd love him to win, but it is not realistic :)

Probably not at an oval he's never been to before, but once he gets back to tracks he's seen, and teams catch up to Hendrick's CoTs he may still do it this year.
Right now his biggest priority is to try to make the Chase. He's 259 points out with 10 races to go, to out score 7 other drivers. If he can consistantly score top 15s he may make it, even with that 43rd at Michigan two weeks ago.

Only 3rd time this season for Riggs and he's only outside Top 35 because he had such appaling realibilty at the start of the season. Same for Blaney.

Thats a disaster for Vickers and the whole Red Bull team. When he does make the races he is as fast as just about anyone.
