Today, at press-conference in France, was announced that three-times world rally champion and the record-holder for wins Sebastien Loeb withdraws from the championship after the 2007 season. He said that now, when he's the most successful rally driver ever, he's only making the sport boring, dominating it on par with Gronholm. So, soon after the announcemenet that Gronholm leaves, the frenchman decided to follow the steps of his best friend-rival and to quit competitions after one of them wins the world rally title next year.

Who said one of them WILL win it next year. The Impreza should be fast with improvements and it is not impossible for someone else to take the championship.

I have always said Loeb is a gentleman, very nice of him, there is so many slower drivers there without a seat that deserves a drive.
