Haha, I was just about to post that before deciding I couldn't be bothered! :)

Terrible luck for Elias. I don't like him much and it was probably waiting to happen but still never wish that on anyone. Good luck for a quick recovery.

I like the last line in the article.... No word on a replacement yet, for crying out loud it had only happened about 1 hour before it was written.

They reckon he won't be back til Brno, that means missing two rounds.

He has broken the femur (not sure which leg) in an apparent low side.

That line may need traction control

That's bad luck. Perhaps they can entice Toseland in as a wild card, so he can try out motogp, that's if it doesn't clash with the WSB round.

Well the vultures are circling.

I don't think Honda will let JT go when the WSBK title is still up for grabs.

The talk about Hodgson.... British scare mongering!

What about Johnny Rea?

Shame Josh Brookes has signed a deal with a WSS team, because he would never be able to break that contract (please sense sarcasm)

hmmm..... Brno is on 19th August, 6 weeks away.......... a few other reports i've been browsing have indicated a healing time of 3 months, which i think is a bit more accurate for that type of break and then the rehab to get back up to strength.

Word out of the US has Miguel Duhamel on the vacant Gresini Honda for Laguna.

Hmm, i dunno about Honda's choice.. Seems like theyre just giving him a 'gift' for his years and years .. and years of service.. Surely a youngster with some potential would be the go.. Bemused..

Johnny Rea or James Toseland would be good choices, but Rea is on BSB duty on both sachinring & leguna sega at Oulton Park & Mallory Park, and JT fine 4 Sachinring but not able to race at Laguna on that his at Brno 4 the world superbikes. how about Dovizioso for Luguna, Toseland for sachinring IF I was Gresini.

As a one off ride I think it is great reward for a long term Honda employee.

I agree that DuHamel's ride is a reward more than anything else (he's retiring soon isn't he?).

He'll finish somewhere between 10th and 15th is my guess.
