wtf???????????they send out the safety car.......pit lane must be manually closed at the same time to avoid any pit stops under safety car condition!!!!fa and nr got in for p/stops bvefore the entrance was MANUALLY closed!!!!!...therefore , they entered the pit lane under LEGAL CONDITIONS!!!!!!

well!!!....as i said earlier...once the sc is deployed the pit lane appar4ently was supposed to be closed at the same time!!!!...i fa and nr entered thje pit lane before it waas closed then this must surely be deemed legal or what?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

They don't close the pit lane by putting a wall there racehound. They do it by turning the entry and leaving lights to red. The lights were red when FA and Nico came in, but they had to come in cause they were short on fuel.

Tough luck, but that's how it is with the new SC rules.

yes....i see how you read that post now ive re-read it myself!!!!......i know they DONT ACTUALLY put a barrier there at the pit lane entrance, but what i meant was that they should AT LEAST have a guy there with a lollipop to STOP cars entering pit lane as soon as the red light comes on at the pitlane exit!!!!.....that way there can be no possible confusion tht the pitlane is closed........now if ANY CAR has to come in to be refuelled and has to pass under the lollipop man, then they know immediately that they will not be allowed to EXIT pitlane until they see the green light at the end of pitlane....

I know this is not about chatting during the Canadian GP, but to answer your post, which I am confused about: as the pit lane closed or only the exit (momentarily)?

and this was as it happened when even JA said FA and NR got into the pits with no penalty!!!!
