The departing gifts of Tony Blair and John Reid may be to bring back the powers of stop and search on suspicion of a crime, thus saving Gordon Brown from having to revisit that controversial anti civil rights measure.
When last used in the UK they resulted in the disastrous Brixton and Toxteth riots etc before being repealed. Do you think we need them now?
