It took them long enough to decide.

And it's a good thing they came up with the COT. I was afraid that one car owner was just going to dominate this season...

A good idea. One car for all. Now how about letting Toyota run their truck engines at the big show like Nascar lets GM, Ford and Dodge do. Is Nascar afraid of something?

To be honest i think NASCAR should have just switched from one car to the other.

NASCAR found some things interesting about the COT:

* Six fewer DNF's than in 2006 at the same five races.
* Thirteen teams have used the same car for three races.
* Four teams have run the same car for four races.
* The Richard Childress Racing #29 has used the same car all five races.

To be honest i think NASCAR should have just switched from one car to the other.

First teams were whining that their current car inventory would be a financial loss, so NASCAR decided on the phase in. Then they whined that it was too financially taxing to maintin two cup programs

I didn't agree with the progressive schedule. If I were an owner, I'd be complaining about the cash as well. I don't like the COT, but I guess that's what we have to watch. Should let the teams focus on developing one program.
