Re Rd 5 V8 Supercars

Rd 5 of the V8 Supercars will be put back a week or so on account I am going to Fiji for a week & half. I won't get back until around the 29th/30th May.I will then post the details for the Rd at Hidden Valley. In the meantime you can do time trials because the qualifying will be done on time trial mode.

Johnny Shell, fresh off his first-ever touring car top 5 finish, was first to hit the shadowy counter-clockwise Hidden Valley circuit today.

Time posted was 50.32, good for a whopping 87th on the codies site!

Hi all, just posting to apologise for signing up for the championship and not getting involved. I really wanted to do this, but, unfortunatly, My work situation changed a bit and I am snowed under. I have very little time to check the forum, let alone get the PS2 out (It's got a lovely coat of dust at the moment), and the rest of my time is taken up by the wife. I hope that next year I will have more time to get involved, but for now, enjoy the racing and all the best. Cheers to Peter for getting this thing going. Maxu05

I broke the 49s barrier today with a 49.98, good for 58th on codies, 9 spots behind Mr Sloma.

I expect Mr Sloma's time to improve by at least a second though once he's gotten some more track time.

As for me, having learned the track now I'm moving over to race mode to work on that set up.

usually it is free set up. sometimes it's default just for a change, and to give the guys who aren't good at set-up a better chance.

or other times you can only change some things and have to leave other things default. but that's very rare.

Welcome King ! Yes, Johnny, he is actually very "speedy" lol. For qualifying, points are awarded to the top 5 qualifiers. You have to enter the code from your time trial on the Codemasters site, and just before the race details come out, Peter Vuko will announce the top 5. For your interest, here is the program.
