Ralf Schumacher is already claiming it's a done deal. That might be premature, but it sure looks like it's going to happen.
With Sauber struggling the last few years, it could be a good shot in the arm. Bottas seemed to be unaware that things might be changing, which is rather odd to me. But by the same token it would probably be his job to keep his mouth shut even if he did know the deal was going down.
It seems that when it happens, Herta is destined for a seat. I think the hurdle with his super license points would be easy to overcome. It will be interesting to say the least. Andretti has a lot of talent, and I'm sure they could adapt. The big question will be where they might be at with the new car. But being that the new cars will have less room to work with it would give them the experience of having worked with Indycar for so long.
It would be great to see it happen, as it can only help the US market for F1.
I wouldn't be at all shocked that some type of announcement is made tomorrow.
