Formula 1 Expanded Standing

I have expanded the the Formula 1 scoring, to better show how the mid-field and bottom are performing. Finishing 20 gets 1 points, 19 gets 2 points all the way up to 11th gets 10 pts.

If you are DNF - 0 points

Positions 1 thru 10, get their normal allotment of points +10pts.

Thats interesting. I always thought about that.. Why arent all the cars scoring points?

MotoGP points system is better than F1's IMO:
-_> 25-20-16-13-11-10-9-8-7-6... (Top 15)

BTCC also pay points to the top 15 but its:
--> 20-17-15-13-11-10-9-8...

Indycar pay points for every position, which is also interesting cuz it makes you fight for every possible position. For F1 Im from the 10-6-4-3-2-1 and I love that. It was so easy to calculate back in the day of no internet to follow championship points!

But in the end of the day we all KNOW that in a championship like F1 no one is really fighting for the title except the guys winning races so I'd also be ok with something like... Only the top3 earning points, since its all about that. I'd go with one of these:
--> 6,3,1 ...or 10,6,3 ...or 13,4,1 (The 3 medal rules from the Olympics, where 3 silver medals cant worth the same as 1 gold 'in points') ...or even 3,2,1.

Some motocross racing pays 1 point to the winner and 20 for the last and the champion is the one with less points BUT one DNF adds 20 points to you. Its kinda tragic but its also interesting!

I suppose maybe they are trying to make there be a energetic mid-field fight for crumbs left after the top 3 teams.

But I wanted something to look at just to judge all the drivers up and down the grid. For example:

a. Vettel is catching alot of crap because he not scored any points, but what about Alonso and Raikkonen who are on-par with him.

b. Schumacher is actually doing pretty well compared to his contemparies, right there with Russel (albeit he had a DNF).

c. Mazepin is being thrashed daily (and probably rightly so), but nobody is thrashing Latifi.

d. Bottas is getting rumors put on his demise, but hardly anybody will say a negative word about Perez. Bottas has a DNF and still him and Perez are close.

5. Norris and Leclerc have had nice starts to the season.

6. Ocon has had a nice bounce back from last year so far.

7. Gasly is not having the year he thought he would (or it looked like his team could deliver).

Since you guys like Points...
I was thinking about Indycar and those UCI cylcing points and I thought about another point system that I found interesting
Imagine if F1 paid 100 points to the winner 90 for P2, 80 for P3.... (top 10 score points)
But then you add '1 point' for 9 things, like: holeshot, lead most laps, lead one lap, fastest lap, fastest pitstop, most overtakes, pole position, fastest speed trap and driver of the day

so at the end of the race, the P2 could be only one point behind P1.
Its weird eh? Idk, just thinking out loud here
