Mick Schumacher son of seven times F1 world Champion Michael Schumacher wins the 2020 F2 drivers world championship title from a closely fought championship battle with fellow Ferrari Academy driver, Britain's Callum Illiot. Schumacher joins a special club of junior champions that has won the F4 [Itallian F4 2016], F3 [2018] and F2 [2020] titles coming into F1. Joining highly respected drivers such as Charles Leclerc and George Russell.

Schumacher joins F1 in 2021 in the Haas team alongside fellow F2 racer Nikita Mazepin.

Delighted for him. A lot of people would have cracked living in the shadow of such a great father. He has shown he deserves to be in F1. His 1 lap pace doesn’t seem amazing though. I’ll stand by my statement before that I think this could be a year too soon for him but hopefully I am wrong.
