Unfortunately Cancer strikes again.
Bob Varsha this time.
I wish you all the best in your fight.
You will always remain one of the best and most dedicated racing commentators.
Looking forward to hear your voice again on a broadcast in the future.

No!!!! I have always liked Bob Varsha. His F1 calls always comforted me.

Varsha, Hobbs, Matchett.

Best combination of F1 coverage in my lifetime IMO.

I hope he fights through this. His expertise in racing coverage over the years has made several forms of racing more enjoyable to watch.

I couldn't agree more. I miss the old Speedvision/Speed Channel days. The Sky/ESPN coverage that we get in the States may be more comprehensive (only because they're always at the track), but those chattering ninnies get on my last nerve. No offense to those who like them, but I generally watch with the sound on mute as much as I can.

Bob was knowledgeable, never spoke just to hear himself speak (which seems to be the case with Crofty, Brundle & Co.), was always a class act... and I miss him greatly.

Fight on, brother! You can beat this! :ninja:
