About time too.
I spent some time in Argentina last year and i know from talking to people there that they thought Raies would not do anything of note in the WRC and would consistently be the slowest WRC car on the stages (I know some of our Agentinian forum members felt the same). Looking at his stage times they were all correct.
Villagra was obviously quick in Rally Argentina and drove a good rally, is he the great hope for Latin America in the WRC?

Villagra is excellent, his only problem is age, geting 38 this week..

He started his career afte finishing a previous one: national and southamerican motocross champion.

He can replace JP Raies for sure, and shoudl do perfect, but it is not the great hope for southamericans.

We shoudl pick a youngster, Pozzo was the clearest in 2001 when he was PWRC champion, now he is 26, so he is still in position.

Other to pick is someone in early 20, like Yoma, Cancio or Madero.

Villagra is maybe fast in Argentina with a PWRCar. The question is: is he fast in Sardinia, Germany, Japan etc with a WRCar? How fast is he compare with Raies?
I am glad Raies is quit. He was slowest in WRC. That is very bad.

I hope Villagra can catch some points for Munchi's or at least he drive fast. If he is a joke in that car like Raies, his name changed in a joke too: Viagra.

Some fans know that allready:

Besure: Villagara will do better than Raies. It is easy, Raies with a Subaru WRC was only in some ocassions faster than Villagra with his Lancer N4.

Anyway, Villagra usually goes step by step, so I do not expect him to be fast in Italy. Henever crashes, but hewill not go fast in first rally. It will probably be shown by end of the year.
