Be interesting to see how Tesla reacts to this and other electric pickups that are getting to market.

Always the question is of range.
Any car will be useless if you are on a very long road and you can not get to the end without having lengthy recharge periods.
I expect that the big challengers will be from LG and Siemens.

It's a big truck. Will one of these:

fit on the back?
That will help with the range! If not just get one on a trailer!

Range is less of an issue than I would have thought. A friend bought a Tesla and took a road trip to south Florida from the Wash DC area. Tesla has on line info on charging stations all over the US and, with the quick charge feature, all they had to do was stop for lunch or a snack and when they were finished the car was ready to go. I can see the possibility of it being more difficult in less populated parts of the US and Canada where charging stations are more rare. By the way, I got to drive it and that puppy is quick!

In the near future, I don't plan to switch to an electric pickup. I like electric cars, but I don’t think that the current battery is suitable for them for long rides on heavy cars. I have a Chevrolet pickup, I really like it, I'm completely satisfied with it. I love pickups, but I drive them out the city, on off-road and if I need to carry a heavy stuff. I read a lot about pick-up trucks on the portal truckpowerup (https://truckpowerup.com/), there is a lot of information and reviews about pickups and accessories for these cars. So far, reading reviews about electro pickups, I believe that they still have many shortcomings.

I still drive a diesel pickup, I do not see any viable/ affordable electric pickup at present. LDV/ China and others have hinted they are releasing electric pickups in 2020.
I will buying another diesel pickup if I need to or JP8 (if the toxicity can be made safer)
These types of charger maps give you some idea of the spreading charger infrastructure globally.
