Mari has passed. What, if anything, will this mean for for Indy and IndyCar?

I haven't kept up with the IRL organization or Indy lately and I haven't heard Tony's name (or his siblings) mentioned in forever. Is the family still having to write checks or is the series making it on its own now?

Good question. Judging from the TV angles none of the races are exactly packing in the spectators. TV ratings aren't spectacular either.
