c'mon Neuville! Make it math possible!

spiderem

If Neuville pass Evans, we then have before PS:
- Ogier 212
- Neuville 207
Could mean 212 each after PS... Still Neuville to loose as same amount of Victory, advantage Ogier for winning first rally correct?

Maybe Evans is slow on purpose to boost Neuville so he could make more mistakes during attack. Would not surprise if that came out of Seb.

Would be stupid to do something like that. Ogier could have a slight issue in which case it would be important for Evans to be infront of Neuville.

Remember Australia last year? It started to rain mid-stage and the last cars were a minute and a half slower than the first ones. One stage also got cancelled because the road was so destroyed. This could become an interesting day...

Also, there's 84 km of stages today which is roughly double the amount rallies usually have on Sundays.

I think that's a big plus..enough time that things can happen
Enough time the maybe make a big push..no cruise.

Tanak was 20.3 sec behind Paddon on 3rd split and +18.3 on a finish line. That later part he attack and gain 2sec. Those 5sec is easy doable for him. First stage he just not attack.

i dont think so and i think you Latvala fans have admitted yourself here that his mentality isnt the best. Already the fact that he lets bother his past season retirement him in the beginning of the next season tells a lot.

I think why he has been so good after finland is that he got the contract signed and he has had no pressure in second half whereas Ott put the pressure on him in the beginning of the season. im sure it will be the same in the beginning of next season if Meeke will be also quicker than him, he will be frustrated again.

but i hope it isnt so because i liek him a lot.

Well he tried, finishing at this position wasn't an option. Obviously afterwards it looks like he could have waited a few corners to learn the grip.

Anyway the worst part right now is that it happened so early. Now only thing Ogier has to worry about is Breen 6!!!!!! min behind. So he can just go completely cruise mode and still win. Boring.

Looks very slippy there, although to be fair, Breen was going to quickly. As for Neuville, I think you guys said anything that can be said about him and in my mind if he managed to lose this championship this season when he was leading for like almost half of it, can't see him doing any better next year. As for Ott, I think that with a bit more luck on his side next year (assuming he doesn't take it tonight/today) he'll be the man to beat in 2019. Oh btw, it's Toyota's second season and it looks like they're managing to do something Hyundai have tried and failed to do since 2014 with no luck....just goes to show, Hyundai need to do some changes to personal with the addition of Mikkelsen proving to be useless this year, he's lucky to have that 2 year contract. Anyhow, congrats to Ogier, he's earned it.

They invested in the wrong drivers.

Neuville should not be in the team... he lost a 30 point lead to a driver with a very inferior car.

well on the positive side we got latvalas replacement as the top masterless dog for the years to come and when latvala daddys money dry.

Neuville is absolutely nothing... N O T H I N G.. its laughable, i really doubt latvala would throw away a lead like that...

I really like what Ott and thierry have done for the championship, it's so competitive now thanks to their development. I like both despite one being hugely more popular than the other, and both can be future world champions.
But I still feel there's a difference between them and Ogier, and if Seb was driving the I20 or Yaris this year he would've won the championship. Just like how Seb would've won the title last season if he was in the i20, and just like he's going to do with the Fiesta again this year.

He's a serial winner and serial winners find a way...

Ogier is incredible. What a legend of the sport.
