I see the Queen's touched down in Richmond for the start of her US tour. Do you think there's any chance she might be doing the "Start Your Engines" command for this weekend's race?

Welcome to the US Queen Elilzabeth II.

I got a chance to visit Buckingham Palace a few years ago. Unbelieveable.

News flash.

While QE2 is away, lets form a the Peoples Republic of England

Hey any chance you very nice Americans can take the rest of the royal family that cost us millions of pounds a year in taxes. Money that could be better spent on hospitals, schools and feeding the poor.

Up Cromwell, bring on the Peoples Republic of England (PRoE)

And while your at it could you take our wonderful Prime minister who has mismanaged the funding for our hospitals, schools and poor.

Or have i missed somthing, last time i checked the government was incharge of the country.

God forbid the liberals place the blame on the almighty Tony Blair.

Only if in exchange you'll take a President with a record unfavorable rating, but we'll throw in an NFL draft choice to be named later. ;-)

I watched the Derby, the Queen was her usual classy self, but it amazes me the American public's appetite to want to see the Queen, for America was the ultimate rebellion against the monarchy!!

Hey, maybe most of the Commonwealth of Nations will go to Republics when the Queen is gone, for Charles is an idiot, but I do like the old girl....I know my Canadian money looks better when I see that familiar profile.....somethings are just meant to be there, and to me, Queen Elizabeth is one of them.

I suspect she wouldn't be caught dead at a motor race tho....

I don't know about that. Name recognition gets you pretty far in the states.
