The British physicist Stephen Hawking has taken off on a zero-gravity flight in a specially modified plane.
Professor Hawking, who suffers from motor neurone disease, was able to float free, unrestricted by his paralysed muscles and his wheelchair.

Just me? or was that not the coolest news.. Experiencing weightlessness after living in a wheelchair most of his life... Awesome!

That was a smart idea of someones to lease a 727 and charge thrill seekers and space cadets two grand for a glorified roller coaster ride. I wish I'd though of that.

They actually do alot more than that in the vomit comet. They do many science in there, including testings for the shuttle program.

Good! It's about time the lazy sod moved himself about a bit :mad:
No wonder this country is being overun by Eastern Europeans and darkies when our leading astro physicist can't even be arsed to shake a bloody leg.
