2.5/10 for me too.
Terrible race in a season where probably 10 of them have been really due
3 OK and only a few good.

7/10
The race is better than Mexico even though it was a relatively subdued race compared to a classic like 2008. Lots of close battles despite the lack of yellow flag or safety car & rain to spice up the race.

2/10
Merc pretty much ruined it. With the WDC and WCC already decided and a 1-2 pretty much guaranteed anyway, they should have let HAM and ROS race properly instead of insisting on the 'equal strategy' rule. As if the MERC domination isn't suffocating enough (they've statistically even surpassed the 1988 season in win- and pole-ratio), that Ferrari-early-noughts style stage-managing is damaging the sport I think. We could have Bahrain '14-style races if they let their drivers actually contributing something by having an influence on the strategy. As it is now, the race is decided by whom is more rutheless in running the other out of track into turn 1.

dj_bytedisaster we don't agree on much, but in this instance you are absolutely correct.
With both championships already won, it would be great to see some real racing, with alternate strategies and some exciting wheel to wheel action as you say.
Believe it or not, I turned off the race in brazil as i was super bored and already predicted that the merc mgmt would not let them race.
Lets hope they allow them to do their own thing for the final race.
2/10 was my score too
