Not up to the standards of USA but a decent race IMO. 6.5/10

I actually said 6.5 before, but for some reason it wasn't saved. Oh well.

I think that the first half of the race was fairly lame, but the second was a bit more interesting. That SC brought some excitement to what would have otherwise been a downer.

Tilke mucked up the Peratalde.
What used to be a semi-difficult banked corner has been turned into one of Tilke's dinky ickle go-cart tracks. BOOO!

In 1986, Berger won the Mexican GP at a shade just over 120mph. Rosberg won the 2015 edition at just over 111mph.

Even though Hamilton got to a speed of 225mph in 2015, in 1986 Berger was getting 218mph and was able to hold it for longer. I just feel that Tilke's idiotic monkeying has cost us what could be even faster speeds.

7/10

6 for the race & bonus 1 point for the debut race & great atmosphere. A relatively dull processional race with some minor incidents. Nice confetti celebration.

7/10. Hard to go higher when merc 1-2 is all I see.

nothing special 5/10. I really miss the Peraltada. It was a great corner, fast and a wee bit hair-raising, now it is a wee bit lame. Who can forget Derek Warwick coming out of the corner upside down on lap 1 in 1990, and running back to the pits to take the restart in the spare car
