So with about 7 drives having grid drops of anywhere from 5 places to 50. The question is has this become absolutely stupid? What do you guys think.

I mean if someone has a 50 place drop what is the point?

My idea is they should measure 50 grid spots and the car should start that distance behind :p. So someone might be starting around the last corner......

It worked out pretty well for McLaren, taking 5 and 10 place penalties but in fact moving forward by 1 place each.
