Once again, I don´t really know what´s wrong with me, I couldn´t pick Ogier as #1. Would have been easy way though, picking up 10 more points added to my current 19... :)

No you can not! It's made up as we go along of course!
Actually its a complex matrix giving 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3 if you get the exact picks in that order. If you pick someone who finishes in the top 8 but not in the right position the credit tails off, still giving most for picking the winner. If Makinen Fan has a few moments I hope he will post the matrix. The old system then awarded 250 points to the winner but we've kept to just the points actually scored to keep the contest tight.

If you go to the spreadsheet and change the sheet to one of the event (e.g. click MC at the bottom) you will see the point table.

What I would like to see in next event is more possibilities of drivers. Now there were only 3 WRC2-drivers "enabled" apparently. In some events (especially with little WRC entries) it may be possible for a R5 car to be 8th... For example count off Camilli's stage-times with mistakes and he would have been 10th, and there were not many retirements among works-drivers (the only works-driver missing in top 10 is Tanak). The chance of it happening is small, but it's there.. ;)

The problem is that I hard-coded the possibilities to be just 20 drivers. Mintex usually picks the most highly possible drivers to be in the top 10. The purpose of this was to have automatic highlight the wrong entries so that I can fix them easily (excel does not understand punctuation marks, some ppl spell Mikkelsen as Mikkelson etc.)
btw Your entry for MC is highlighted with red that is wrong because you chose Camili who was not in the list :p But made no difference in the end.

We can do with more possible picks if you like, but in the results sheets I will choose the top 10 + 10 with possible picks. Anyone choosing something else will get 0 points anyway. It's not a biggy

The more WRC cars in the event the less likely a WRC2 car will make it to the top 8. When there were only 13 WRC cars I've included all the best WRC2 cars and once I think some R4

Because we do! Don't know what Pluto has done in getting Mark to assist in getting his pick system working...BUT ours is system crash-proof and as we found in 2012 that is a big problem. This shouldn't be about comparing choices - it's about individuals being certain that THIS rally is the one Ogier loses!! (Just tweaking the anti-Seb O brigade!)

Well spotted! Since Dominguez finished 8th, I had to add him in the list of available drivers.
Nothing changes in the points, because no one picked Dominguez or Saba!!

Given that no one messaged me desperate for me to add his name to the list, I think we can agree that this is a moot point. :-)
No one has been disadvantaged so we move on.
Now, given my abysmal performances so far this year I need to predict something unusual in order to make up the considerable lost ground - How about Meeke /Ostberg 1-2 in Portugal, that ought to do it!

I was one of few at least picking Ostberg up top three (eg. 1st place) and it could have been. Odd picks is by heart. Common pick is for winning the Pickems. :)

Makinen Fan is probably on holiday - patience mes braves. Just cut out the trash talk. We are an unpaid, unautomated (since the Big Crash) team of 2 and the fact we kept WRC Pickems running despite a number of problems means we are actually exempt from criticism!
