Bit of a worry sign considering how much Caterham struggle generally already.

I saw last night that Alexander Rossi has also jumped ship. Wonder if they'll try to sell out to Gene Haas or if they think they can (somehow) exist as a bare-bones, sorta-kinda F1 team?

According to the reporting on NBC, Rossi was effectively dumped as part of the deal, but details seem hazy. I also hadn't realized that the Caterham GP2 team, which had previously been Rossi's primary seat, has been in serious trouble all season. Dark days for the team. Hopefully they can somehow fix it, but with limited funding and in the midst of laying people off, it's hard to see how.
