Long time comin.
New we would see it eventually.
Annoying thing is every year since 2010 I have said Marussia/Virgin or Caterham/Lotus would score their first point in Monaco. I think this was the first year I had given up saying that.
Even better it was 2 points.
Could have been 4 if the strange start line mix up hadn't occurred because Bianchi finished 8th only for Grosjean to hop him in the shuffle with penalties.
Monaco finally produced a decent race for the first time in at least 3 years IMO.

I wonder how many millions of dollars this will mean for them.

Its great news. I hope this will allow them to compete in 2015.
I heard some rumours Sauber and Caterham are on the verge of leaving F1. Dont know if thats true.

Looks like Caterham are going... :(
I always thought Tony lost interest after the Lotus-Lotus debacle, even though they won that!
I had basically given up hope of points after 2 retirements in each of the last 2 races. This is very very well deserved.

We are supposedly having 2 new teams for 2015 right? If someone also bought Caterham if they leave then a 26 car grid is still possible.
We can but hope.

This was the high attrition race that Caterham and Marussia have been dreaming about all these years. This was the only way they could score points. Unfortunately for Caterham, Marussia won this stage. This race alone may well mean that Marussia will finish the year ahead of Caterham, as it's hard to imagine Caterham scoring two points unless we see another race of attrition. Bianchi is definitely the star today.

Congrats to them! Bigger teams had failures and driver error. Marussia and Bianchi had none of those things and were rewarded.
Well Done!

Well done! Let's hope Caterham can score a point in Canada or Singapore. They need a perfect storm, high attrition due to car problem or accident.
