It is too late with a little one who gets up any time from 4.45am to 6am and wishes to have your full attention whether you've had a good night sleep or not. I have not read these books, but in terms of match action, I reguarly have watched all the World Cup films and match highlights. I know quite a bit from 1954-now, and I have read books on 30-50.

I would say my knowledge on these world cups is above the average man in the street despite 98 being the first world cup I remember.
