Temporary street karting tracks around the World

I'm involved in a karting project for the Romanian national championship involving a temporary track designed in the parking lot of a mall on the outskirts the holiday city of Constanta. It's outdoor and it will feature an interesting change in elevation. Race is scheduled for the first weekend of May this year.

I was wondering if anyone knows other improvised / temporary street kart tracks around the World, because my Google search returned dry.

About 50 years ago they raced karts through the streets of Tanga, Tanzania. But I think that's outside your time frame.

I'm sure there have been other races in parking malls. From a standpoint of total ignorance, I would expect a major concern for the organisers would be spectator safety.
