The first in-season test of the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship begins in Bahrain on Tuesday, with a number of rookies set to take on driving duties during the two-day session.
McLaren reserve Stoffel Vandoorne gets his first F1 outing, fresh from his GP2 debut win at Sakhir at the weekend; 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 champion Robin Frijns will drive for Caterham; and 18-year-old Sergey Sirotkin will be at the wheel for Sauber.
His Tuesday test should allow Sirotkin to complete the mileage needed to qualify for his FIA Super Licence. The Russian will then hand over to Sauber
