Hopefully he can be able to emulate the success of Markko Martin in the future. He really has a lot of potentials.

More proof that if you want to step up to a WRC you must prove it - driving endless years in JWRC eventually gets you nowhere - it only helps to learn the stages a little.

And as i´ve heard if wvwrything goes well and Urmo will do good job this year he´ll do 12 events next year with Mitsu.

It´s 07 specification Mitsu wrc. This year they will try to score some points and show decent speed, cause next year they wont be doing jrc anymore and the aim is to do 10-12 wrc rounds.

Jaanus

Yes Hänninen drove the same car in Norway that he used last year in Finland KR53 YPP.
Urmo will get one of these 14 cars, but it is not yet clear which one.

Very happy for Aava!

I like his driving style and I think he could become a good official driver in the next future.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Hänninen also the only Mitsu that is semi-prepared by Ralliart? From what i have read it's mostly prepared by RRE-sports.

I think he should have sticked with either the whale, the Xsara or the Focus he did test at the start of the year 2007...

What if the Mitsu is cheaper and that lets him run more events?

Which is more important? Showing some promise in a slower car and getting more experience? OR being a little bit faster (maybe) and being judged more hasrhly while getting less total experience?

If it's just a matter of money, the Skoda Fabia should be even cheaper than the Mitsu

Apparently even the Mitsu's boss was with him at presentation. I don't see Škoda's boss doing that. :\ Here's hoping this is a sign of Mitsu's return to WRC. ;)

Jaanus

1 Fabia is not cheaper to rent, it is still very expencive.
2 One of Urmo sponsors is Silberauto, the Mitsubishi importer in Estonia.
