And 2nd place battle group was splitted. Mads in slower part. Maybe if he finish 2nd at WRGB that 3% uncertainty by Matton for driver line-up to 2015 - give him a big chance....

Two Norwegian gentleman drivers are having the time of their life in Wales. The guys from Try&Frustøl Motorsport http://www.tryfrustol.no/ or https://www.facebook.com/tryfrustol?ref=ts&fref=ts

They have been running Fiesta R5s in the Norwegian championship this year and are ending their season with a WRC round as a present to themselves, making an old dream come trough.

They have been almost identical in time, the whole rally, but On the last stage Franks car had a gearbox failiure. But the MSL team managed to change it in time, so he will be ready for tomorrow.

The boys are having a ball!!

That jump start penalty reminded me of my old question. Why they still have fixed stage start time and associated jump start penalty - instead driver could start anytime after the green light is lit and clock would start at the exact moment he crosses the start line (the sensor is already there to detect jump start so it could be used to start the clock instead)?

We could use the same system you propose at the Olympic Games too, would put an end to the restarts in the swimming events

He has one spare that has some air in it left. So, he must drive with punctured tyre in the stage and then he must put less punctured tyre on to drive to service. So, in what place he should finish to secure 2nd for citroen? He is definitely going to fall behind Evans.

No. Evans 5th, Tanak 6th (no manu points), Meeke 7th would still be 210-208.
Meeke would have to drop behind Latvala in order it to be 208-208 and even so, Citroen's three 2nd places would win against M-Sport's two second places.

Friday we did Sweet Lamb, watching from the fast approach between a hairpin left and the water splash and in the afternoon the stage finish, getting a close look at the cars and the hard work of all the marshalls.

Saturday was Aberhirnant where we found 2 good spots at a fast, downhill section. Meeke was very sideways into view, and Kubica wide, showering me with rocks! Loved the night stage!

Sunday was alright, but a bit of a downer as I hope to watch from the water side at Brenig, but the marshalls were having none of it. I am glad to see some people managed to get through! The highlight was watching the TV chopper barely flying 20-30ft above the ground, some of the angles were insane, those boys are brave! Shame that Marty McCormak's Fiestas engine failed infront of us in the afternoon, another 30k down the drain according to him.

One thing that royally pissed me off was the amount of litter left behind by ignorant scum. The mess after Aberhirnant was beyond a joke and must have taken ages to be tidied up.

Still great rally, looking forward to the 2015 season now!

Agree with you on the rubbish! Between the WRC runs in Dyfi I returned to my car, and there were 3 vans of lads together in a group in front of me. They decided to go off to another stage for the afternoon, and opened the back doors on one of the vans and floored it, and all there rubbish fell out. I asked if they were going to remove it and just got a lot of verbal abuse! Was nice to see though, as the event ended, 4/5 official people bagging all the rubbish up.

Probably one of the best Wales Rally I have been so far. We did shakedown, Gartheniog 1/2, Clocaenog Main 1/2 and Brenig 1/2.

Seb Ogier and Jari-Matti were clearly a step ahead everyone else in day 1, shame that the battle didn't last long. After that Seb's driving was visibly very safe.

An incident that was not mentioned anywhere AFAIK: In Clocaenog Main 1 we were standing in a fast downhill left were Latvala had a 4th/5th gear spin (he didnt have the rear wing). He was very lucky that a big run-away area exist in the middle of the turn where he stopped backwards, otherwise it would have been a big crash.

Safety in Brenig stage was ridiculous, almost the whole stage was full of marshals and the spectator areas were miles away from the stage. Luckily with the help of some kind marshals we sneaked in the forest and enjoyed some nice spots! Other than that, marshals were really cool this year.

I hope to post some photos soon.

I had the same problem in Brenig too, they tried to stop us but we just ignored them and kept walking. Tried giving no us the old 'we'll cancel the stage' nonsense. Don't think they realised that i'm out on a rally neary every weekend, and not a once a year speccy.

Haha, rallycross? Dorks.

Rally, Rallycross, Globular Rally-cross in a parking lot, its all the same... You have to learn how to have the right attitude.. Trust me!

Now the first step is to learn to say in a very nasal accent---(you can hold your nose if you can't do the flat nasal monotone of a 15 year old from LA) say
"Like.....whateverrr" (work on the final 'r', its R not like the Pmmies turn it into a 'ah" sound)

For more emphasis, say "Like whatever DOOOOOD!"

Its all the same to promotional folks, they spend millions promoting, they can butcher the sport and the poor bastids name it if they want.

Don't you remember back in 2007 where Red Bull sponsored rally GOD Travis Pastrami was "2007 World rally Champion"?
