Agree with that, don't understand.. Fill this tarmac wheels with longer studs, more like does we uses in scandinavia....

But it most fits the tarmac wheels, otherwise they need to set-up and build the car after the studded tires...

I haven't compared the percentage between priority cars on the entry list and the number of them that arrive at the control stop of the last stage in 80's-90's vs the current era, but I'm sure that at least it's similar. However, if you compare the itinerary of WRC events in the past and now...

Last year they blamed spectators. Today maybe they'll blame Melicharek, though the real cause for cancellation is the same as 2013: danger (the same as rallying used to be based on).

Yepp, I was one of them. Did not have dream about that he would get a full factory seat in WRC after his two rallyes last year - but he did luckily and what a first rally! so wonderful!

Fenomenal Ogier as usual.
Bouffier and Meeke - well done, and very good car control, but let's not forget that Neuville, Sordo, Loeb were missing.
In videoclips from yesterday Hirvonen was putting some effort, but not how it should be so his times were still very bad.
Evans - very solid drive and so many brave accurate powerslides, maybe he will turn out to be a talent.
Kubica - good times but very haotic drive - no wonder he bins it so often.

So, we have a winner ! If we are honest (just look pickems), we expected Ogier to win. After first few stages he put ''the thing on a proper place''. Therefore I'm even more worried for upcoming rallies as he succeeded to win after quite big gap, what will be when he will lead already after first stage..???
Bouffier and Meeke-definetely positive surprises, a proof that you can be on a podium at MC not just with pure speed and top-spec car, you need some luck for yourself and some bad luck, which hits other drivers.
Ostberg-this result is more than solid for him. He as no tarmac specialist, first time in DS3, well, congrats!!
On the other hand we have also ''losers'': JML, Mikkelsen and Hirvonen. Except last PS JML didn't show nothing, some goes for Andreas and Mikko.
Young Evans-not blistering, but still very solid. I'm happy for him.
And than to ex-F1 driver: we must admit, nobody expected from Robert to be so fast ! Ok, he retired (and there will be more off's in this season, for sure..), but for a driver, who has zero experience at MC, to beat regulars like Mads & Mikko, this is a tremendous performance...never seen until today, even with all-mighty Seb1 & 2...

Congrats to Meeke and Bouffier, really amazing drive. Kris said in the stage end interview that after this rally he's able to finish any other and I think he's really able. Best of luck for the upcoming rallies and of course hope that Bryan can get some drives after this stunning performance. Only feel sorry about Robert Kubica but undoubtedly he's the future star of WRC.

My impressions of the Rally:
Very nice Rally with the specific conditions we all know, must be thinked of Turini circumstances.
Ogier - brilliant as much as it takes. Had a flow with 1st loop on 1st day with weather forecast. Tried to compensate this and made a few mistakes, but very, very small ones. You must know where to push over the limit, admiration for that.
Bouffier - dream result for him, he is capable of. Tyre choice at first day easied him a lot, but also brilliant drive through the Rally.
Meeke - probably he hadn't dream for more, steady driving, rarely seen from him, if he continues like it - good results are waiting.
Ostberg - also great result at Monte, surprised me.
Latvala - probably little dissapointing, but some points are better than no points at all. He played safe, and it'll pay off.
Evans - strong result gathering experience, nothing bad. He is building his confidence step-by-step, probably for the best.
Hirvonen - nothing good here. He probably has to think of something else in future. I don't know what really break him, but it is constant.
Hyunday - total dissapoinment, except Sordo performance. Neuville - crashed and don't really seem to care about it, honestly I wasn't impressed. Sordo - brilliant performance, but car let him down, that's the risk with newly develoiped car, but admiration for him.
Kubica - definitelly impressing, but has some things to learn probably.
