I'm going to forget F1 for 5 months and enjoy the fact the season is over. I usually hate the winter break as F1 is too exciting for me but after 2013 I think we need it. I think if next season shows a similar pattern, I fancy a few Sundays watching MotoGP as I've prioritised F1 for much of this season.

The crazy action-packed 2012 season was so intense that it left me satisfied and I was not in the rush to see the 2013. The 2012 felt like it had enough action for 2-3 years of decent seasons. However, I couldn't wait for the 2013 season end and the 2014 start right after the summer was over, because well.. after Spa, we all knew with 95% certainty how it was going to end.

I'm going to be intrigued as to who has the best car design for 2014. I'm hoping for a more open season next year. Plus I think we will see a few reliability issues with the new turbo engines next season. Bring on 2014, it will be here before we know it :D

You're not kidding.. this is my favourite time of year. Driver/team changes, new cars coming out, new liveries, testing.. it's all quite interesting until reality sets in after about three races.

Well, as an Everton fan, the Premier League will keep take up some of my attention. As a Carolina Panthers fan, I'll have completely forgotten F1 exists, since they're going to the Super bowl, and will be a good chance to win it. As a cricket fan, the Ashes series will be the priority, since it has become a hell of a lot more interesting in the last few days!

WRC coverage in Australia has really died off, which is unfortunate. Instead we get flooded with inane telecasts of American recreational activities like Competition Lumberjacking (I am not kidding). I can't help but feel that years of a mediocre TV highlights package really sealed its fate.
