With the news coming out today that it was as a result of the injuries suffered at Silverstone, I guess that brings to an end Formula One's long run without a driver fatality? Very odd circumstances though.

IMHO, that's just a technicality. In the end, I'm more concerned about the fact that died stewards are conveniently forgotten when it comes to point out how few people die in Formula One.

Such a sad set of circumstances from all that happened last year up til last week. Thoughts of us all are I'm sure with family and friends.
