There has been some discussion about boringness and about the lack of overtaking. Actually that does not interfere me much, but I'm more disturbed by the fact that two teams are head and shoulders above the others. As in Australia only 6 drivers finished on the same lap, then in Malaysia we saw already 10 drivers completing all the laps, so are the others closing on the leaders?
So far we have seen two teams not only winning, but also taking all podium places. Two drivers, who have won and three podium visitors. How many more will we see by the end of the season?
Winners
Besides Alonso and Räikkönen probably also Hamilton and Massa get their win during this season. Will any other team manage to get an odd win in strange circumstances (like 1991-1996, 1998, 2005, 2006) or will we see a season like 2000, when only McLaren and Ferrari scored wins? In every season there are a couple of chaotic races, where usual "losers" get a chance to get a great result. And if someone else wins, who will it be? Most probably BMW? Maybe they can win for example at Monza on their own merit or do they need Ferrari and McLaren retirements? Or anyone else (Renault or whoever) can get a lucky win in rain or whatever other tough circumstances?
Podium visitors
So far the same drivers have finished in Top3 in both races. Probably Heidfeld, Kubica and definetely Massa will finish in Top3 during this season as well. But who else? Renault driver pairing? Or will get the likes of Toyota, Williams, RBR or Honda a chance for a Top3 finish in a chaotic race? Or will anyone of them become good enough later in the season that they won't need anyone's unluck to finish on podium?
What are your bets? How many different winners/podium achievers among drivers/teams will we see this season?
