Thoughts on Todd Bodine aside, you have to be impressed with what that team has been able to do. IIRC, they are only a 2nd or 3rd year team in the CTS.

I remember the day, and not so long ago, when Todd couldn't buy a Cup ride.

They're developing the CoT car for Toyota, so even if they don't have a sponsor on the hood, it's a safe bet Toyota's paying the tab.

If Toyota is paying the bill, what does that tell you, either that his truck team cant afford it or something else is up.

That tells me Toyota is out to smash the competition.

No, the COT doesn't have didley to do with Toyota !
The COT is NASCAR's project to make the cars less aero dependent & safer for the driver in case of a crash.

Go look at a Camry & then look at the current NASCAR Cup car.
The Cup car is much larger than a production Camry
The COT is even larger than the current Cup stockcar.
At least Chevrolet is trying to cover the bigger size with the name Impala SS.
What is Toyota going to cover the COT with as they don't have a "big car" in their fleet ?

What a ridiculous statement to say the COT is being developed for Toyota !

I think he means Germain racing is being paid by Toyota to run the CoT races, to develop the car for Toyota ;)

eh .................. my bad. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g202/gr8link/erm/3.gif

I can agree Toyota is paying Germain Racing to help develop the Toyota COT.
Germain Racing gave them their 1st Truck Championship plus their 1st Truck Manufacturer's Championship.
